Cost Estimator (Brooklyn, NY)

Tasks :

• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Assess the cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services, track actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary
  documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.

Requirements :

• Master’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or in a related field is required.
• 6 months experience in the job or a Scheduler/ Consultant.
• M-F, 40 hrs/wk.

Electrical Cost Estimator (Brooklyn, NY)

Tasks :

Prepare electrical cost estimates for construction projects to aid management in bidding on said projects and determining the price of raw materials and outside services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering,
• Electrical Engineering or Construction Management is req’d.
• M-F, 40 hrs/wk.
